tomos flywheel?

need a flywheel for a tomos. its a 79 a3sp if that makes a difference im not to sure. NEED IT BAD!

well, its still not running. i believe the flywheel that is on it is wrong, unless im wrong. contacts are closed when the piston is all the way down and open when its up. ive flipped the timing completely around and its still not doing what it needs to do. i dont know man, starting to have a feeling its going to be lit on fire and thrown off the highest building that i can find my feet on. ive done pretty much everything i can do..

the points should be opening just before top dead center, usually just a few mm. are you getting spark? leave the plug attached to the wire and ground the plug out by holding the electrode to the head and spin the flywheel, even if the timing is 180 from what it should be if the electrics are good it will spark.

yeah man, i got spark and everything else i need. its just not turning over. thats good to know though, ill see when they open back up on the up stroke. thanks

shit, if you have spark, youre good. clean that carb and see if it will turn over with some starting fluid

already clean the tank out and the carb multiple times, starter fluid doesnt work either
