I already went blasting around the hood with no front brake and an almost non existent rear...my Vans will soon be elevated to "Saint" status.

Chain on...retaining ring found (miller hardware) and installed...now if I can find some way to plug that hole

what hole? JB Weld to the rescue!

It's an auxilery oil flow hole so without draining and drying out the engine I don't think JB will do the trick. I need a self tapping screw....

how big does it need to be? i know onell has a tap set for a lot of common (moped) sizes. he tapped my m7 to an m8; don't know if that'll help, but it's a thought
