In need of a Piston Ring

My friend Jason has an Aristel Kit and one of the piston rings came in broken, so he called up the place he got it from but they said they were out and that they will send the piston ring when they get back in stock which would be a month. So he asked me to ask around for a spare piston ring. It would be strongly appreciated! <-- He said

Is that the kid with the red Targa? If so, he broke his ring because he didn't line up the ring end with the notch in the ring groove, and then forced the cylinder on. I offered to put his cylinder on, or just talk him through it, but he turned me down.

Saying basically no returns accepted if you break them and blame it on the Postal Service.

Pretty funny, I just had to mention it.

sorry if that came off wrong steve - i really did appreciate the gesture to help me kit my ped, i had been looking for help for almost a month, because i didn't want to waste my money knowing absolutely nothing about the inner workings, - but i just got anxious and tried to put it together. when i met steve at bold hype, i was half way done, so i figured i could get the rest done, which i did, and what i was scared of, i fucked it up. i didn't mean to insult you, i honestly did appreciate the offer, i just thought i'd be able to get it done myself since i was so far in.

when oh when will you ride again?

i'm just awaiting that beautiful new piston, i ordered it the day i found out i screwed up, so it should be in the next couple days, and i'll be shredding once again. i've been in the process of painting mine, so it's going to be a brand new beast when i'm riding again. being out of the moped life is horribly depressing.

No worries Vivek.. I wasn't offended. Sorry for the call-out. Trash talking is a small component of Orlando mopeds for a few of us. It's a poor habit.

Let us know when you're up and running... and my offer still stands if you need any help with your bike. I will be in Richmond, VA for the next 5 days.. hit me up next week if necessary.
