Yes I finally bought a Mikuni for the Maxi. It should be in sometime next week. If any of you hoodlums are contemplating a new carb I highly recommend a second hand Mikuni as an option. They're supposedly very easy to tune...very easy to find jets...and most importantly cheap to buy new or second hand!

The VM style has been used by many Jap makes since the 60's...and the TM style (like on Dan's Magnum) are highly effective (smallest is a 22mm).
